Services may include assessment of diet and lifestyle, discussion of wellbeing strategies, safety review of nutritional medicine and Western herbal medicine, and individualised recommendations where appropriate.
Medical care and prescribed medicines
The clinic does not diagnose disease, prescribe pharmaceutical medicines, replace medical screening or advise clients to stop, reduce or change prescribed treatment. Always discuss medicine changes with the prescribing clinician.
Nutritional medicine and Western herbal medicine safety
Nutritional medicine and Western herbal medicine may cause adverse effects or interact with prescribed medicines, over-the-counter medicines, other products, medical conditions or procedures. A review may reduce risk but cannot guarantee that every possible interaction, contraindication or adverse effect will be identified.
Shared care and referral
Lynne may recommend assessment or treatment by a GP, pharmacist, specialist, dietitian, psychologist or another health professional. Where appropriate, you may be encouraged to discuss supplement or herbal medicine recommendations with your GP, pharmacist, prescriber or other healthcare professional. With your consent, the clinic may communicate relevant information to members of your healthcare team.
